Add Materials to a Project

Use this workflow to declare which materials will be used on a project before purchasing them. Declared materials appear in the Inventory table with zero quantities and are automatically pre-selected when you create a Materials Submittal.

Steps

  1. Open the project and go to the Materials tab. Click Add Materials in the Inventory section header.

  2. Search the org catalog, check each material you plan to use, then click Add. You can add more materials at any time by clicking Add Materials again.

  3. The materials appear in the Inventory table with 0 purchased and 0 on-hand. Log purchases later using Add Entry in the Material Log section.
