Linking Materials to Line Items

Linking a material to a line item tells TraxPhase which materials are consumed for that scope of work. Once linked, the inventory summary shows how much you still need to complete remaining work.

Steps

1. Open the Line Items tab

Navigate to your project and click the Line Items tab.

2. Open the line item's details

Click the activities icon (tree list) on the line item row.

3. Switch to the Materials tab

In the modal, click the Materials tab.

4. Add a material link

Click Add Material, select the material from your catalog, and optionally enter a Custom Yield if the manufacturer spec doesn't match your application.

5. Save

Click Add Material to confirm. The link applies to all rows of this line item type — original bid rows and any Change Order rows are covered automatically.

Setting Application Depth

For volumetric materials (stucco, base coat), set the Depth (in) directly on the line item row in the Line Items tab. TraxPhase corrects the yield forecast automatically.
